In the wake of the Devastation caused by the Eaton fire in the Altadena/Pasadena area, Pasadena Rugby Football was quick to act. Working with the Fraternity of Eagles and with the help of LA Rugby Football club, everyone came together to collect donations for victims of the fire. Volunteers were there from 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday January 11th, 2025, hauling donations from trucks and cars into the Eagles Hall and organizing thighs to make them accessible to the victims of the fire.
In the aftermath of the devastating Eaton Fire, which ravaged the Altadena/Pasadena area, the local community found strength in unity. One notable demonstration of solidarity came from the Pasadena Rugby Football Club, which acted quickly to provide much-needed support to the victims of the fire. Through collaboration with the Fraternity of Eagles, the rugby community proved the power of teamwork and compassion in times of crisis.
The Eaton Fire left many families displaced and in need of immediate assistance. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, Pasadena Rugby Football Club quickly mobilized a response. They worked closely with the Fraternity of Eagles, a local charitable organization with a long-standing commitment to community service. Together, they organized a donation drive to collect essential items for fire victims.
On Saturday, January 11th, 2025, volunteers from Pasadena RFC gathered from 9 am to 6 pm to haul donations from trucks and cars into the Eagles Hall, where they were sorted and organized. The generosity of the community was evident, with donations pouring in from all corners. Volunteers worked tirelessly throughout the day to ensure the goods were accessible to those who had lost so much in the fire.
In addition to the efforts of the Pasadena Rugby Football Club, the Los Angeles Rugby Football Club also lent their support. Players and supporters from both clubs came together to provide manpower and resources for the donation drive, demonstrating that rugby is not just about the game but about fostering a sense of camaraderie and service.
